Czerneda's second book, Beholder's Eye, is even better. Esen-Alit-Quar is the youngest of her Web, a "family" of extremely long-lived shapeshifters.

Web-beings live in the diverse cultures and forms of intelligent life to learn and preserve their accomplishments/5(45). The Beholder's Eye showcases the very best of an increasing trend toward personal narrative: Mike Sager stalking Marlon Brando in the Tahitian jungle; J.

Moehringer's quest to discover the true identity of an old boxer; Bill Plaschke's story about a woman with cerebral palsy who runs an obscure Los Angeles Dodgers website; Scott Anderson's /5(2). It turned out the blog was promoting the latest book in the story of Esen, which sent me back to this first book, Beholder's Eye.

Esen is described as a shapeshifter, but in actuality, is a more crysta4/5. The Beholder’s Eye showcases the very best of an increasing trend toward personal narrative: This book traces U2's incredible ascent from a young fledgling Irish band on its first tour of America in to one of the world's biggest groups.

As a free-lance writer and disc jockey and Music Director with Boston's WBCN-FM, Pages:   Beholder's Eye is the first novel in the Web Shifters series. Esen-alit-Quar is the most recent member of the Web of Ersh and the only member who isn't a product of fissioning by Ersh; Esen is an offspring of Ansky and her Lanivarian lover and the only one of their cubs who can shift.5/5(5).

I'm going to review all three books in this series - Beholders Eye, Changing Vision and Hidden in Sight by Julie Czerneda. Someone on the sci fi community group here at Amazon recommended Ms.

Czerneda to me when I was looking for some really good, well-written, fun, sci fi to read. These books are not short - all three were at least pages long/5(45). This novel is a hynotic journey that questions the definitions of love and compassion and presents a wasteland America seen through the eyes of one man who has stumbled on a woman who quickly becomes the center of his universe.

All other questions become secondary when she walks into the lense of his s:   () N Main St Ste AA Blacksburg, VA /5(1). Addeddate Identifier Eye_of_the_Beholder_Cluebook_PC Identifier-ark ark://t9r25d44c Ocr ABBYY FineReader Pages 40 Ppi Scanner. Beholders Eye.

The book is also good, though. My copy is a well worn friend. What other book might you compare Beholder's Eye to and why. Incomparable. But, it's a good fantasy story, for people with plenty of imagination. The intellect and morals embraced by the main character sit very well with me.

The twists and turns are clever and often surprising. The Eye ignores this single flaw and even helps the woman by hiding a few bodies deeper so she won’t get caught. Written in by an American living in France, this is a strange little book.

There is no character development or even motives. There also is no plot other than what I mentioned above/5(33).Beholders Eye Photography. likes 2 talking about this.
